The Lincoln football team continued their impressive season last Thursday in the first round of the 11AAA Playoffs, beating Rapid City Central by a score of 60-21. The victory moves the Patriots along in the bracket to do battle with cross-town foe Jefferson.
Earlier this season, Lincoln was able to triumph over the Cavaliers 57-36. Both teams are looking for a spot in the 11AAA State Championship game. If the Patriots win, it will be their third straight appearance in the title game. Jefferson is looking for their first appearance since winning it all in 2022.
